Indeed, it is during these years that Gonz\u00e1lez decides to abandon painting and to devote himself entirely to sculpture, his true vocation.\u00a0 After the publication of a first <em>catalogue raisonn\u00e9<\/em> devoted to his sculpture (J\u00f6rn Merkert, 1987) and other volumes focused on his drawings (Josette Gibert, 1975, Galerie de France, 1993), this new <em>catalogue raisonn\u00e9<\/em> will assemble the entirety of Gonz\u00e1lez&#8217;s <em>oeuvre<\/em>: painting, <em>objets d&#8217;art,<\/em> sculpture and drawing.<\/p>\n<p>The author of this monumental work is the eminent art historian Tom\u00e1s Llorens, a specialist on Gonz\u00e1lez having served as director for numerous prestigious museums, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/juliogonzalez.org\/dans-les-musees\/#.XXtXhJMzaL9\">IVAM Centre Julio Gonz\u00e1lez<\/a>, the Museo Nacional Centre de Arte Reina Sofia, and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. The catalogue is edited by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundacionazcona.com\/catalogue-raisonne-julio-gonzalez.html\">Fundaci<\/a>\u00f3<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundacionazcona.com\/catalogue-raisonne-julio-gonzalez.html\">n Azcona<\/a>.
