It is discerned annually to a living artist of international renown as a tribute to the impact of his or her work.\u00a0\u00a0Each recipient of the award is given a cast of Gonz\u00e1lez&#8217;s sculpture &#8220;Femme \u00e0 l&#8217;amphore II&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The IVAM Centre Julio Gonz\u00e1lez has almost 400 works by Julio Gonz\u00e1lez: sculptures, drawings, paintings and decorative art objects in metal.
